Quick Overview

Futures Fin Boxes are engineered to be the lightest and strongest fin system in the world. Featuring Interwoven Laminate Technology (ILT) and a full-base design, these fin boxes create a superior bond to the surfboard skin for long-lasting strength, performance, and reliability.

Futures Fin Boxes are trusted by surfers, shapers, and repair professionals worldwide for their unmatched balance of strength, weight savings, and precision fit. Designed for high-performance surfboards, Futures fin boxes deliver consistent results across a wide range of board designs and fin configurations.

Built with Futures’ proprietary Interwoven Laminate Technology (ILT), each fin box features a proven full-base construction that integrates directly with the fiberglass skin of the surfboard. Engineered cutouts in the flange allow resin to flow through and mechanically lock into the laminate, creating a stronger bond than traditional fin box systems.

This advanced resin-to-fiberglass connection helps reduce stress cracking, minimizes fin box movement, and improves overall board durability—making Futures ILT Fin Boxes ideal for new builds, custom shapes, and professional repairs.

Available Depths:
3/4" ILT Fin Boxes – Designed for front side fins in thruster, quad, 5-fin, and 2+1 surfboard setups
1/2" ILT Fin Boxes – Commonly used for rear or trailer fins depending on board design and fin layout

Package Includes:
• (1) Futures ILT Fin Box (size selected)
• (1) Stainless steel fin screw

Whether you’re shaping a high-performance shortboard or completing a professional repair, Futures  Fin Boxes provide a lightweight, secure, and time-tested fin system built to perform in all conditions.
