TT 802 Deep-Pour Casting Epoxy (2:1 System)

Fiberglass Florida’s TT 802 Casting Epoxy is a high-build, two-component, 100% solids epoxy system formulated for water-clear pours from ¼” to 1” thick per layer. Engineered for artists, woodworkers, and furniture makers, TT 802 delivers exceptional clarity, slow cure control, and bubble-free finishes in every application.

Applications

  • River tables and live-edge wood slabs
  • Burl wood tables and embedded castings
  • Resin art, jewelry, and deep-pour molds
  • Decorative casting and epoxy encapsulation

Key Features

  • Deep Pour Performance: Pour layers up to 1” thick per coat without excessive heat or yellowing.
  • Crystal-Clear Finish: Water-clear transparency ideal for art and woodworking applications.
  • Extended Working Time: 30–45 minutes of pot life for larger projects and complex pours.
  • Low Viscosity & Self-Leveling: Ensures smooth flow and easy bubble release using a propane torch.
  • 2:1 Mix Ratio: Simple, accurate mixing with reliable curing performance.

Mixing & Application

Combine 2 parts Resin A to 1 part Hardener B by volume. Mix thoroughly for 3–4 minutes, scraping sides and bottom of the container. Pour slowly to minimize air entrapment, working in ¼” layers up to 1” thick. Pop surface bubbles using a torch held 4–6 inches above the pour. For projects requiring thickness beyond 1”, allow each layer to fully cure before adding the next.

Coverage & Packaging

Coverage (per 1.5-gallon kit):

  • ¼” thick – covers ~10 sq. ft.
  • ½” thick – covers ~5 sq. ft.
  • 1” thick – covers ~2.5 sq. ft.

Available in 1.5-gallon kits (1 gal resin / ½ gal hardener) and 15-gallon kits (10 gal total). For larger kit quantities, please email orders@fiberglassflorida.com or call 321-639-3036.

Cure & Performance

  • To Touch: 24 hours
  • Light Use: 72 hours
  • Full Cure: 7–14 days (depending on thickness and temperature)

Storage & Cleanup

Store in a dry area between 75–80°F with humidity under 60%. Clean tools immediately with Acetone before the epoxy cures.
