Quick Overview

The Future Fins 10.75″ Long Box features Futures’ innovative 1-Shot one-piece construction, delivering exceptional strength, zero bond lines, and complete resistance to water intrusion. Designed for under-glass installation, its rounded, stress-distributing flange reduces cracking at high-load points while creating a superior resin bond to both polyester and epoxy systems. Lightweight, durable, and compatible with all standard longboard and SUP center fins, this box includes an orange installation bridge for fast, accurate installs.

Future Fins 10.75″ Long Box – Stronger, Lighter, Leak-Free

The Future Fins 10.75″ Long Box was engineered to solve the most common longboard fin box failures. Unlike traditional longboard boxes that are molded in two pieces and bonded together with adhesive, Futures’ proprietary 1-Shot construction molds the box as a single solid unit—eliminating glue joints, weak points, and potential water intrusion.

1-Shot One-Piece Construction

Standard fin boxes often fail at the bonded seam, allowing water to migrate into the board. The 1-Shot design removes this risk entirely. With no internal bond lines, the box delivers superior structural integrity and long-term durability, even under heavy use.

Under-Glass Installation with Stress-Distributing Flange

A common issue with traditional longboard fin boxes is cracking at the front of the box, often visible as hairline fractures or brown stress marks. The 10.75″ Long Box addresses this directly with a rounded flange system that distributes load more evenly across the fiberglass laminate. Installed under the glass, the box integrates seamlessly into the board structure, significantly reducing stress concentration and future failures.

Stronger Bond, Lighter Weight

Strategic cutouts in the flange allow resin to fully infuse between the fin box and the fiberglass skin during lamination. This creates a stronger mechanical bond while keeping weight to a minimum—making this one of the lightest and strongest longboard fin boxes on the market.

Built for Polyester & Epoxy Systems

Manufactured from Futures’ proprietary material blend, the 10.75″ Long Box bonds exceptionally well to both polyester and epoxy resins, making it ideal for custom builds, repairs, and production boards alike.

Universal Compatibility & Easy Installation

Compatible with all standard longboard and SUP center fins, this box includes an orange installation bridge to ensure precise alignment and fast, repeatable installs during routing and glass-in.

Ideal Applications

  • Longboard center fin boxes
  • SUP center fin boxes
  • High-load performance longboards
  • Professional board building and repairs

When strength, weight, and long-term durability matter, the Future Fins 10.75″ Long Box sets the benchmark for modern longboard fin box design.
