1513 Clear Marine Gel Coat is a high-performance clear gelcoat designed for marine fiberglass applications where durability, appearance, and protection are critical. Built on an advanced NPG/Isophthalic resin backbone, this gelcoat produces a hard, abrasion-resistant surface capable of withstanding harsh marine environments.

This clear gelcoat is commonly used in boat building, fiberglass manufacturing, and marine repair applications. When applied correctly and catalyzed with MEKP, it forms a durable protective layer that resists staining, surface wear, and environmental exposure.

Recommended Catalyst

1513 Clear Marine Gel Coat should be catalyzed using standard MEKP catalysts such as Cadox L-50A or DDM-9. Catalyst percentage and cure time may vary depending on temperature and application conditions.

Storage

Uncatalyzed gelcoat should be stored at approximately 77°F and used within the recommended shelf life of approximately three months for best performance.
