6" Indasa Rhynogrip White Line Hook & Loop Sanding Discs
Indasa Rhynogrip White Line 6" Sanding Discs are production-grade, hook-and-loop abrasives designed for fast, economical dry sanding. These solid 61 Series discs deliver a strong initial cut and dependable surface finish on fiberglass, gelcoat, fairing compounds, fillers, primers, old paint, composites, metal and wood.
White Line is an excellent everyday abrasive for boatyards, fiberglass repair shops, surfboard builders, automotive refinishing shops and general fabrication facilities. It provides dependable Indasa cutting performance without the higher cost of ceramic, film-backed or mesh abrasives when those specialized features are not required.
Why Choose Indasa Rhynogrip White Line?
- Fast initial cutting action: Aluminum-oxide abrasive removes material quickly during shaping, leveling and surface preparation.
- Clog-resistant performance: The abrasive coating helps reduce loading when sanding fillers, primers, coatings and resinous materials.
- Rhynogrip hook-and-loop backing: Discs attach securely and can be changed quickly when moving between sanding grits.
- Consistent scratch pattern: Helps produce predictable results as the surface moves from coarse shaping to finer preparation.
- Multipurpose value: A cost-effective abrasive for everyday marine, composite, automotive, woodworking and industrial sanding.

| Grit Range | Recommended Use |
|---|---|
| P36–P60 | Aggressive material removal, heavy fairing, shaping repairs, removing coatings and leveling high areas. |
| P80–P100 | General fiberglass preparation, fairing compound shaping, smoothing grinder marks and preparing bonding surfaces. |
| P120–P150 | Smoothing filler, refining fairing work, removing coarse sanding scratches and preparing surfaces for primer. |
| P180–P220 | Final filler refinement, primer preparation and smoothing repaired areas before additional coatings. |
| P320–P400 | Primer sanding, paint preparation, surface refinement and preparation before compatible marine or automotive topcoats. |
| P500–P600 | Fine dry sanding, scratch refinement, light surface correction and preparation before later finishing stages. |
Always follow the coating or primer manufacturer’s technical data sheet when selecting the final sanding grit. For additional help, see the Fiberglass Florida Sandpaper Grit Guide.
Rhynogrip Hook & Loop Versus PSA Sanding Discs
Choose Rhynogrip hook-and-loop discs when you frequently change grits, need quick disc replacement or want to remove a partially used disc from the sanding pad. Choose PSA sticky-back discs when using a smooth adhesive backing pad and a permanent adhesive attachment is preferred for the sanding operation.
These Rhynogrip White Line discs require a compatible 6" hook-and-loop backing pad. Pair them with the Indasa 6" Solid Grip Backing Pad for a properly matched sanding setup.
When Should You Choose Mesh or Premium Ceramic Sandpaper?
Rhynogrip White Line is intended for economical, general-purpose production sanding. It is a solid, no-hole disc and does not provide through-the-disc vacuum extraction.
For maximum dust extraction and no hole-alignment requirements, consider Indasa 6" Rhynogrip Mesh Line Sanding Discs. For extremely demanding production work where maximum cutting speed and extended abrasive life justify a higher price, a premium ceramic abrasive may be the better choice.
