Application Tips
Apply a minimum of two coats using a roller, brush, or spray method. For high-wear areas such as the bow, keel, and rudder, apply an extra stripe coat for added protection. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of grease or wax before painting. If thinning is needed, use Interlux Brush-Ease 433 or Special Thinner 216.
Environmental Considerations
Micron CSC uses a high-solids, low-VOC formulation that reduces solvent emissions and environmental impact while maintaining superior performance.
Compatibility & Surface Prep
- Fiberglass: Clean with Fiberglass Solvent Wash 202 or YMA601V and prime with InterProtect 2000E or No-Sand Primer.
- Wood: Sand with 80-grit and apply a thinned first coat (10% Special Thinner 216).
- Previously Painted Surfaces: Sand lightly with 80-grit and clean before applying Micron CSC.
