Commonly used in Awlgrip systems, it activates the base component to cure properly and achieve a durable, sandable surface ready for primer and topcoat.

What is the D7200 Converter Used For?

The D7200 Converter is used to activate Awlfair LW D8200, allowing the fairing compound to cure and develop the strength, adhesion, and sanding characteristics required for high-end marine finishing.

Mix Ratio & Application

Awlfair LW is mixed at a 1:1 ratio by volume (base to converter) using D8200 and D7200. Mix thoroughly to a uniform color before application.

• Do not thin or add solvents
• Apply using trowel, knife, or fairing tools
• Pot life varies depending on temperature

System Compatibility

The D7200 Converter is specifically engineered for use with Awlfair LW and should always be paired with the D8200 base. For best results, use within a complete Awlgrip fairing and coating system.
