  • Enhanced color depth and vibrancy using modern pigment technology
  • Fast drying with superior flow and leveling characteristics
  • Repairable and blendable compared to traditional linear polyurethane systems

  • Reduction: 15–33% with Awlgrip spray reducers (T0001, T0002, T0003, or T0005) to reach 11–15 seconds DIN 4 or 16–18 seconds Zahn #2

  • Flash Time: 15–45 minutes after first coat; 30–45 minutes between subsequent coats
  • Spray Setup: 1.0–1.2 mm fluid tip; 2–2.5 bar (29–36 psi)

Coverage & Drying Performance

  • Theoretical Coverage: ~741 ft² per gallon per coat @ ~1.4 mil DFT (based on 100% transfer efficiency; actual coverage will vary)
  • Recommended Dry Film Thickness: ~1.4 mils per coat
  • Tape-Free: Approximately 24 hours at 77°F (25°C)
  • Light Service: Approximately 3 days at 77°F
  • Full Cure: Approximately 21 days

Surface Preparation Requirements

For best results, apply over properly prepared Awlgrip epoxy primers such as Awlgrip 545 or Awlquik. Sand primer surfaces smooth (P320–P400) and ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and free of contaminants before topcoat application.

If more than 24 hours elapse before recoating, sand or scuff the surface prior to applying additional coats.
